Make a difference in the life of a child. Train to be an Augustine Literacy Project® tutor. An Augustine tutor provides 60 free lessons to a low-income child to help him or her become a better reader. If you would like to become a tutor during the 2018-2019 school year, Patrick Beaver Learning Resource Center is offering a training on October 22-26, 2018. Tutors will meet 8:30-3:30 Monday through Friday that week to learn how to help a struggling reader. Tutors will be paired with a student after the training ends.
