Tutor one child. Change two lives.
Patrick Beaver Learning Resource Center invites you to be part of the team of tutors that is empowering students throughout Catawba County.
We train and support volunteer tutors who provide free, one-to-one instruction in literacy skills to struggling readers from low-income families. Tutors help children improve their reading, writing and spelling skills.
An Augustine Literacy Project tutor provides 60 free lessons to a low-income child to help him or her become a better reader.
Find out more about the Augustine Literacy Project at informational coffees on July 20, 2017, August 31, 2017 and September 26,2017 at 10 am.
