Teachers help students with learning differences everyday, but many of them have never had the specialized training required to teach a children with dyslexia how to read.  Patrick Beaver Learning Resource Center sponsors the training of eighteen K-2 teachers each summer in the Orton-Gillingham approach.  This training benefits all students, as the Orton-Gillingham approach is research-based and highly effective way to teach reading.
