Come learn about how you can make a difference in the life of a child.  The Patrick Beaver Learning Resource Center invites you to join them for an informational coffee to learn about the Augustine Literacy Project®.  The Augustine Literacy Project® trains volunteers who provide free, one-on-one literacy tutoring to low income children who are struggling readers.  Last school year, from pretest in August to posttest in May, our Augustine students read an average of 28 words per minute faster while increasing their accuracy by 23% and their comprehension by 51%.  Come learn about the upcoming fall trainings.  For more information, email info@patrickbeaverlrc.org or call 828-624-2012.
