Learning Is Fun Together encourages parents to be involved in their children’s education and promotes reading in the home. These fun-filled monthly sessions are a partnership between Patrick Beaver Learning Resource Center, UNC-TV and selected schools in Catawba County.  Parents learn strategies to help their child with reading, and everyone enjoys the learning activities, free books and delicious food!

Patrick Beaver Learning Resource Center sponsored LIFT at St. Stephens Elementary in 2015-2016, at North Newton Elementary in 2016-2017, and at Viewmont Elementary in 2017-2018.
